Drum Roll, Please!

Turns out our fetus is a female, the lesser of the genders. I kid, I kid. It's really a boy. Just kidding for real that time. It really is a girl. Promise. We decided a while ago that we would name our offspring after our friend that passed away earlier this year and his family that made a profound impact on our lives. So, without further ado, our fetus' name is: Selby Forrest Krystian Rogers. Yeah, that's four names for one child. So what, who cares? Name your kid whatever you want, this is probably our only chance to name a child. On top of the four names, we also prefer to refer to the product of our reproductive materials as Owley.

When it rains, it pours. I interviewed for a position today and during the interview I got an e-mail to set up an interview with a different company and after the interview I got a phone call asking to set up another interview with yet another company. Where were all of these opportunities 6 months ago? Hopefully I will have some tough decisions to make, and if not I will take it as a sign that I should be a stay at home father. I mean really.

I'm so tired of severe weather. More than that, I'm tired of Mike, Rick and Gary interrupting programming to tell us what we all know anyway: stay away from windows and go to the lowest level with as many walls as possible. See, no need to interrupt. We got it down pat.

Humiliating Your Wife Is Acceptable, Right?

This is a video of Dionne crying at the end of "Marley and Me." Yep, I'm a jerk. I've already posted it on Facebook, but I really wanted to open it up to the public.

Hopefully by now you have heard of Greyson Michael Chance. If you haven't you're probably old. He as an Edmondite who caught national attention for his cover of "Paparazzi." Here's what. "Paparazzi" is actually the weakest of the three videos on You Tube. Check out the original songs he composed here: http://www.youtube.com/user/greyson97
It's been a big week for Oklahoma. National correspondents flooded a Love's Country Store because apparently it had the best damage. Heck, TMZ even had a post about Sam Champion getting snippy with the crew from KOKH-TV, seen here: http://www.tmz.com/2010/05/11/sam-champion-news-coverage-oklahoma-tornado-confrontation-clash-kokh-good-morning-america-weatherman/
He later apologized: http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/abc/sam_champion_vs_the_local_news_crew_161341.asp

Thats about it for now. Click an ad and comment please.

The New Adventures of Old Dusty and Dionne

We meet again half dozen readers! Things have certainly changed since our last encounter in late January. The only comment I received was from a reader telling me to update, so I guess it's time.

  • Last time around I graduated, but didn't have a job and wished to get paid to blog/tweet. Not much has changed in this aspect of life, however you will notice these beautiful ads on the sidebar and within the post that I hope will pay the bills someday. Click on them repeatedly please.
  • Dionne's uterus is cured but filled with something far scarier than fibroids...a fetus.  I maintain emotional detachment at this point, but the thought of impending fatherhood doesn't frighten me. I just don't enjoy the presence of children. I ain't scared.
  • The dogs are still blind. I rearranged the furniture for a good laugh. It's been about a month and it is still good for the occasional hearty chuckle. Here are some pictures of them:
Sandy in her Snuggie and Karate Kid costume

Brandy in her french maid costume. We are terrible parents.
So that's what you missed. Come back tomorrow and click some ads.
