Why Do I Do This To Myself?

Where do I begin? I'm struggling to understand why I watch "The Real Housewives of New York City." They are just as vain as the women from the OC and Atlanta seasons, but the sound of their voices is like a train screeching to a halt in an effort to prevent a crash with a school bus full of pre-school children. Plus, they advocate the merciless murder of animals so they can attain a sense of importance by wearing a carcass over the vessel that would harbor their soul if they had one. Why do they keep walking red carpets? No one cares about them and most people wish they would just go away. Jill's husband looks like the character Tom Cruise played in "Tropic Thunder." Ramona asking the Governor of New York if he is blind is a perfect example of why I don't miss a single episode. I can't wait for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."

"The Celebrity Apprentice" started Sunday and I'm not sure I consider a "Deal or No Deal" briefcase model a celebrity. Andrew Dice Clay? Probably a huge get in 1987. Dennis Rodman? Huge get in 1997. Donald Trump isn't doing well on television or in business, so maybe our world will finally be free from horrendous hair pieces.
